Bio
Born and raised in Victoria, Texas, Andrew Seerden is a graduate of Victoria High School, Texas A&M University (BBA, 1995) and South Texas College of Law (JD, 1998).
Mr. Seerden began his legal career at a large firm where he represented and defended large corporations and insurance companies. During four years at this firm, he successfully handled and tried a significant number of cases to jury verdict, including premises liability cases, products liability cases, workplace injury/non-subscriber cases and business and consumer cases. He also gained unique and invaluable knowledge, insight and experience as to how big corporations, insurance companies – and the lawyers that represent them – defend personal injury and consumer lawsuits.
It was also during this time that Seerden learned that he wanted to be on the “other side” – instead of representing big corporations and insurance companies, he wanted to represent people. In 2002, he started the Seerden Law Firm to use his experience and insight to his clients’ advantage in representing individuals in personal injury and consumer claims. Since its founding, he has dedicated his practice to just that, and has helped his clients succeed in a wide variety of personal injury and consumer cases.
In 2006, Seerden was honored by his peers by being named a Rising Star by Texas Monthly Super Lawyers. No more than 2.5% of all attorneys in the state are on this list.
Seerden is also board certified in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. According to the State Bar, only approximately 2% of all attorneys licensed to practice law in Texas are board certified in personal injury trial law.
